Tigers News · Boys Track Compete at Tim Dunne Invitational

The boys track and field team competed Friday, April 23rd at the Tim Dunne Invitational conference meet. Overall, the team took 3rd and had a lot of fight in each of their events. Several first place finishes were highlighted by Taeo Schneider in the 200 meter dash, George Showers in the 1600 meter, Jacob Wallace in the 300 meter hurdles, the 4×100 meter relay team consisting of Abram Garcia, Morgan Quam, Jeremiah Komagum, and Taeo Schneider, as well as a 1st place finish in the 4×200 meter relay consisting of Matt Hess, Erik Casteneda, Morgan Quam, and Taeo Schneider.

Other notable highlights were Taeo Schneider’s 2nd place finish in the 100 meter dash, Jeremiah Komagum’s 3rd place finish in the 200 meter dash, George Shower’s 3rd place finish in the 3200 meter, Jacob Wallace’s 3rd place finish in the 110 Hurdles, Erik Casteneda’s 2nd place finish in he 300 meter hurdles, Ryan Almanza’s 5th place finish in the discus, Gavin Capp’s 2nd place finish the the pole vault along with Holden Southwick placing 4th and Ashton Peters placing 5th, and a 3rd place finish from the 4×400 relay team consisting of Morgan Quam, Matt Hess, Jeremiah Komagum, and Erik Casteneda.

The Tigers next meet will be Friday, April 30th where they will be traveling to Skyview High School for the Skyview Invitational.
