Tigers News · Boys Track Takes 2nd at Buhl Rotary

The boys track and field team took 2nd place out of 14 teams at the Buhl Rotary on April 16th, 2021. Notable highlights include 1st place finishes from Taeo Schneider in the 200 meter dash and an exciting finish to the boys 4×400 meter relay including a come from behind win on a team consisting of Matt Hess, Morgan Quam, Jeremiah Komagum, and Erik Casteneda. Other highlights include Schneider’s 3rd place finish in the 100 meter, Morgan Quam’s 5th place finish in the 400 meter, George Showers 3rd place finish in the 1600 meter and 2nd place finish in the 3200 meter, Erik Casteneda’s 2nd place finish in the 300 meter hurdles, Jacob Wallace’s 4th place finish the the 300 meter hurdles, 2nd place finish in the 4×100 meter relay (Garcia, Schneider, Komagum, Ortiz), 3rd place finish in the 4×200 meter relay (Garcia, Quam, Casteneda, Hess), a 6th place finish from Gavin Capps in the pole vault, and a 5th place finish from Ryan Almanza in the discus.

The Tigers next meet will be April 23rd in Jerome hosting the Tim Dunne Invitational.
